Notes

Reconstructions and collations follow Maidman unless otherwise noted. (Partial damage is more aggressively notated in some places.)

5-6. Following Finke, RGTC 10: 22, 357, versus Maidman.

13. Pace Maidman. There also does not appear room for two signs (-di3-in).

14. I believe (pace Maidman) that room exists for MES^, which could be expected here.

Translation

1-4Affidavit of Ziliya son of Tenteya before the halzuhle officials and before the judges. Thus he spoke: 5-8I gave to Tehip-tilla 18 homers of irrigated field in the Anzukalli road, in the amatu field of the city of Zizza, and adopted him. 8-10And Tehip-tilla gave to me 40 homers of grain as my present.

11-13If the fields have a legal case, I shall clear (them) and give (them) to Tehip-tilla. 13-16From this day he shall not bring charges against Tehip-tilla concerning these fields.
