Translation

1-4Ithip-ukur son of Sanie by his agreement adopted Adad-beli son of Baqnu. 5-11Ithip-ukur gave to Adad-beli as his share fields and a dimtu, the inheritance of Ithip-ukur in the dimtu of Sanie, as much as there is, whether they are small or large. 12-15In the produce, the property, and the remaining fields, and in the asses, the oxen, the flocks, the female servants, and the male servants of Ithip-ukur Adad-beli shall not have a share. 16-17Should Ithip-ukur die, he shall not mourn him. 17-18Should he disappear, he shall not look for him. 18-20Ithip-ukur’s creditor shall not fulfill their ilku service. 21-22He shall not pay his eshsheshu offerings. 22-24Adad-beli shall not fulfill the ilku service of Ithip-ukur.

25-27He who breaks (this agreement) shall pay ten minas of silver (and) ten minas of gold. He shall give (it) to the treasury of the great king.
